I took these photos a long time ago when we put up our tree and here they finally are :) Christmas time is my absolute favorite time of the year and decorating the Christmas tree is one of my favorite traditions :) Enjoy!!

Finals Week!

Hello everyone!!
I'm sorry I haven't posted very much lately! School and work and my lame attempt at a social life have been keeping me pretty busy lately :P But I just wanted to let everyone know that I am doing well! Just being a bit stressed and sleep deprived because it is FINALS WEEK! Dun Dun Duuuuun! haha But today I have my last final so after that ya'll should be seeing a lot more of me :) I am very worried because I have my hardest final today (Biology) but I am very ready to be done with it so I can enjoy this beautiful Christmas Season!

Taylor!

Here is the second part of my portrait project :) My neighbor, Taylor, was kind enough to be my model! She is a pretty amazing dancer and I got some amazing shots! Enjoy!

 I was focusing most on play with light :) This one is definitely my favorite :)

There is nothing wrong with being yourself :)

In my psychology class we are doing a debate on nature vs. nurture for personality! So we have been talking much of different kinds of personalities and temperaments! So naturally introverted vs. extroverted has come up in conversation! Now I am a very introverted person and all my life I have thought that it was a negative thing to be introverted. Not only did I tell myself that, but the world around me also told me that being an introvert is a bad thing. People would make comments like "you are too quiet", "You should talk more" and things like that. Television usually mocks the quiet, shy characters on a show. Being surrounded by all of this really made me ashamed for being who I was. It is my temperament and it is very difficult, almost impossible to change that. But what I finally realized, is that being introverted is not a bad thing at all. Just like being a extrovert is not bad either. It is just the way we were made, whether you believe it is through your biological makeup or through the way you were raised. I am this way because God made me this way and I am not going to push myself to be something I am not. I am finally at peace with who I am and you should be too :) Don't be afraid to let your true colors shine :) 

The Javelina Hall Kids

So my friends and I like to sit outside during our lunch break next to this small building called "Javelina Hall". It is strange because these kids come out every 40 minutes and just chill outside while a teacher watches them and then they go back inside. This would be fine except for the fact that they are extremely loud and seem to think cussing every other word is cool. It is very annoying and we cannot seem to figure out if they are actually in college! We've started affectionally calling them the "Javies" :) hahaha anyways Kevin told me to post about them so I did :)

Penny and Kyle are Engaged!

Penny is one of my best friends from high school and in two weeks she is marrying her high school sweetheart! I am so excited for her and Kyle :) They make an adorable and wonderful couple! I had the honor of doing their engagement photos and here are some of my favorites :)
