Today I was listening to Air1 on the way to work, with my favorite D.J. Brant Hanson and I heard the most amazing story and I could not wait to share it with all of you! So this woman called in the other day telling Brant about her son who was blind, due to a tragic accident, and how much he listens to and loves Air1. She told him that her son has always wanted to call in but could not dial it due to his blindness. So Brant decided to call him and left him a message. Apparently his mother had also mentioned that her son was having surgery today and many Air1 listeners were praying for him. Today the son called Brant, he had just gotten out of surgery with fully restored sight! It was the most amazing thing I have ever heard! To hear his cries of joy brought tears to my eyes! It was a reminder for me, and many others I'm sure, that God still performs miracles today and we can always rely on him!
"Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

Class Photos!
Today in Photo class we were let loose on campus to practice Depth of Field and here are a couple of my results!
This doesn't have really anything to do with the assignment, it just looked super cool :)
They have this kind of awesome artwork all over the school!
This picture makes them look tall but the are actually pretty small!
A pretty planter :)
See?? Here's another awesome sculpture! :)
Let me know what you think!
Welcome!
Wow, my very first post on my very first blog...I have to say I am nervous! :) Anyways, what I will be posting is (most likely) short stories about either funny or amazing things that happen to me or really anything I feel like :) As well as some photography because I enjoy showing people my work and getting feedback on it, so if I post something please do not hesitate to comment on it. Just let me know what you like, what you dislike, or what you think could make it better! I love opinions! Give me yours!
So a little about my life...well my name is Emily Lynn Castillo (And yes it is very cool that I can merge my first and middle name together---> Emilynn :) isn't that frawesome?!) I am 18 years old and am currently attending Chandler Gilbert Community College and am LOVING IT! I like college soooooo much more that high school! And CGCC is a great school and will most likely be the setting of many of my stories! At CGCC I am taking the following classes: Psych 101 (probably my favorite class), English 101, Photography, Modern Dance, Bio 181, and Exercise Science! I am really loving my Psych 101 class so I will probably mention it quite a bit! I also work at Fuddruckers and for the most part really enjoy it! It will be another setting of many of my stories! In my free time I like to do some photography and just hang out with friends and family! But my free time has been quite limited lately!
Thank you for visiting and please come again!
